no major gripes on this one, but it kinda stays the same throughout the song... i know it changes a little, but the feel is mostly the same, and it's pretty short. i like the overall vibe the song gives. it's pretty eerie, and would fit right in with a dark game/movie. pretty nice percussion as well. overall not bad

SierraRising responds:

I gave myself a short amount of time to complete this, so I paid no real attention to melody, a major flaw in most of my stuff. I was going for an eerie vibe, so I´m glad that worked.
Thanks for the review, it always helps!

darn good stuff, i really love the samples you used for the voices and the drums. the chord progression is good, but there's really no melody here that i can think of other than the voice samples. it really doesn't seem memorable, as there's not a lot to really remember from it, but i will say that it wouldn't irritate me if i heard it on the radio. also it's pretty short, but that's not too big of a deal. from the tags, it seems like it's just a demonstration anyways. overall, nice job on this track, it sounds pretty good.

Zazzy responds:

There's not supposed to be any sort of lead besides the voice.

wtf! this needs more love! this remix is absolutely stunning, i love the key changes, the percussion is fantastic, and the drop is a nice addition. no complaints with this :)

Onefin responds:

Thanks!

And yeah sometimes I wish my stuff got more love :/

It's okay. The dissonance in the piano doesn't sound quite right, though it's not all bad. Some of the ideas for the melodies were pretty good, they might have just not come out quite the way you wanted. I really like when the guitar comes in, but the super-high notes honestly hurt my ears. Also, this song is seriously lacking in percussion. Not bad, just needs a little reworking and it could be a lot better.

MysteriousPresence responds:

Thanks for this constructive review !
I 100% agree with you with those high notes I personally hate (that's one of my oldest tracks) !
I honestly never thought about the percussion, but when I'm thinking about it, you're totally right ! I'll try to improve that !
Thanks again ! :)

I love this song! It has a wonderful beat, the synths are really good, and it really does remind me of eurobeat songs from the 80's/90's. It has a lot of great energy, and it may be repetitive to some people, but for me it never gets old. My favorite part is honestly the intro, the piano is just so beautiful. Wonderful job ;)

Keypat responds:

Thank you very much, I grew up playing dance dance revolution games so eurobeat is a big influence on me, this song is meant to be a tribute to those influences.

I like a lot of the ideas you had for this song, and the mix of video game and strings was pretty interesting. I did genuinely enjoy listening to this. Overall however, I feel that the song was lacking some needed mastering and sounded empty, like there was something missing that could have been added. Maybe something else going on in the background, or more percussion would make me change my mind. Also, the breaks where there's no drums are a little jarring.

Zechnition responds:

Thank you for your comment, i'm still striving for that "fullness" aspect and now I know what to improve. =D

seriously one of the most beautiful songs I've heard on NG, nice job! (also i wonder what you use to make music...)
